Private days out for you, your friends or your family. Below are some ideas, but we can tailor the day to suit your experience and what you want to get out of it. We provide guided walks, for all ages and abilities, and can help you learn navigation skills from beginner to advanced. Get in touch to find out more.
Guided walking
- A day out on the hill – as short or as far as you’d like
- Either guided walking up a hill of your choice (for example one of the more remote Wainwrights)
- Or we can suggest a route to suit your experience / ambitions (often using our local knowledge to take you off the beaten track)
- Opportunity to follow along on a map and get a feel for navigating in the hills
Navigation introduction
- Full day out on the hill, but with a strong emphasis on navigating rather than covering lots of miles
- Learn the basics of map reading and navigation
- No navigation experience necessary

Location
At a location to suit you. We operate all across the Lake District, including Borrowdale, Grasmere, Langdale, and are also happy to venture further afield. If you have a particular location in mind, just let us know.
Private session prices
£150 for 1-2 people, £10 per extra person up to a maximum of 8 (although, do get in touch if you have a larger group)
